Investigators are provided with a specialized widget to prioritize all the open cases. There's even an aspect where it's tailored to all the cases the investigator is assigned to.
The oldest case displays first by default and includes quick details for a glance such as; assigned members (doctor/investigator), toxicology, histology, pending autopsy and more relevant information.

Cert Case Details (Demo)
Track the amount of ME Cert Cases and view them displayed from oldest to newest. Follow the status of Toxicology, Histology, Autopsy, and where the body is stored.
Case number, deceased name, doctor, investigator and date are some of the many profile attributes available to view.

Quick Capture (Demo)
Quick Capture allows for the incoming calls to be logged and information taken to document the call. There are a number of different workflows of a call depending on the Case Type selected:
1. ME Case - Medical Examiner Case is where the body is brought into the morgue and an inspection and toxicology is performed. An internal autopsy is performed if required.
2. Non-ME Case - This is where an investigator determines that this case is not a Medical Examiner Case. This case goes to the doctors queue where the doctor approves the decision made by the investigator. If the doctor does not approve the Non-ME Case classification, the case gets changed to an ME Case and the ME Case workflow is followed. The Doctor let’s the Investigator know of the change in case type.
3. ME Certification - Medical Examiner Certification is where the body does not come into the morgue these are reviewed by doctor to approve and the death certificate information is prepared and the death certificate is signed off by the doctor. Hospice, DHHS Cases, Body Storage and Private Cases are calls that will need to also have a subtype selected.
